i can't believe it is october! time is flying by way too quickly, i have always heard that statement from my mom and other mothers....now i am saying. i promise you, my children, you will say it too when you have kids!
hello there blue eyes! glenn you love hats! it is the funniest thing, if you can have a hat on your head you are one happy little boy!
we are getting ready for halloween with black and orange paint!!! today you are painting pumpkins that are cut out of a potato. gianna you love anything that has to do with paint and getting messy! glenn you chose to eat instead of painting....
the butterfly house is one of our favorite places to go! you both were in your pjs getting ready to go to bed when i read online the butterfly house had owls there and we needed to get there now to see them. so we loaded you both up in the car and went, pjs and all! you loved looking at the owls and hearing them go "whhhoooo wwwwhhhooo"! some of the owls were really big and there was one owl that was itty bitty!
there were so many butterflies! we learned that butterflies really like to fly around at dusk, which was when were are there! you and your dad are sitting very still and waiting for one to land on you! by the end of the visit we each had one land on us!

sweet snuggles from dad! it is field hockey season so we are so lucky he is home and able to go with us tonight! yay! sneak a hug when you can!

when we were walking to the car, gianna, you spotted this beautiful rainbow! good eye little one!
